Nearly 2,000 children and Young Pioneer leaders from 34 provinces and cities across the country took part in a Vovinam martial arts dance performance at the 1st National Children’s Festival, setting a Vietnam Record. The impressive showcase reflected the spirit of solidarity, discipline, national pride, and the aspiration to rise of Vietnam’s younger generation.

On June 20, at Da Lat Stadium in Lam Dong Province, within the framework of the 1st National Children’s Festival 2026, the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, in coordination with the Heo Cao Boi brand of Masan MEATLife Joint Stock Company, organized a Vietnam Record-setting event for: “The largest Vovinam martial arts dance performance welcoming the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, with the highest number of Young Pioneer leaders and children from 34 provinces and cities participating”.

The Vovinam martial arts dance performance was held in celebration of the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2026–2031 term, while also honoring and promoting the values of Vovinam, a traditional Vietnamese martial art deeply rooted in the nation’s cultural identity.
With strong, decisive, synchronized, and spirited movements, nearly 2,000 Young Pioneer leaders and children from provinces and cities nationwide created an impressive performance that embodied solidarity, the will to train and improve, national pride, and the determination of Vietnam’s young generation to strive for excellence.
The Vovinam martial arts dance performance also served as an opportunity for children to connect, learn from one another, improve their physical fitness, develop skills, and spread the spirit of martial arts in their studies, daily activities, and everyday life.
More than just a large-scale sports and cultural event, the performance stood as a vivid testament to the dynamism, creativity, resilience, and unity of Vietnamese children.
Through this activity, the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization aims to continue creating opportunities for children to strengthen their health and develop comprehensively in terms of physical well-being, intellect, and life skills.
With meticulous preparation, a strong sense of responsibility, and close coordination among participating units, the Vovinam martial arts dance performance was successfully staged, ensuring uniformity in formation, technique, and performance quality, and standing out as a highlight of the 1st National Children’s Festival 2026.
Immediately after the program, the Vietnam Records Organization officially announced and presented the Vietnam Record titled: “The largest Vovinam martial arts dance performance welcoming the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, with the highest number of Young Pioneer leaders and children from 34 provinces and cities participating” to the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization and Masan MEATLife Joint Stock Company.
The establishment of this Vietnam Record not only recognized the scale and quality of the event, but also reaffirmed the growing influence of sports and martial arts training movements among children. It contributes to the education of traditions, the nurturing of willpower and courage, and the fostering of aspirations to contribute among Vietnam’s younger generation in the country’s new stage of development.
