The Opening Ceremony of the International Vovinam Technical Training Camp was successfully held on June 2, 2026, at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University, India, in the presence of distinguished guests, government representatives, martial arts leaders, and Vovinam practitioners from across the country.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Hon’ble MLC Shri Mukesh Sharma Ji and Hon’ble MLC Shri Pawan Singh Chauhan Ji, alongside Shri Ajay Taneja Ji, Vice Chancellor of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University. Their presence highlighted the growing recognition and support for Vovinam – Viet Vo Dao in India.

Representing the World Vovinam Federation (WVVF) were Mr. Huynh Khac Nguyen, Technical Director of WVVF, and Coach Pham Chi Thinh, who participated as international technical experts from Vietnam. Their involvement reflects the strong commitment of the global Vovinam community to promoting technical excellence and international cooperation.
The event was further honored by the presence of Shri Shankar Mahabale Ji, Shri Neeraj Shukla Ji, General Secretary of the Vovinam Association of India and Secretary of the University Sports Council, along with Vovinam masters, coaches, and practitioners representing 17 states across India.

Under the leadership and coordination of Mr. Praveen Garg, President of the Vovinam Association of India, the International Vovinam Technical Training Camp was organized successfully, demonstrating the dedication and continuous efforts of the Indian Vovinam community in expanding and strengthening the art nationwide.
The week-long training camp serves as an important platform for technical development, knowledge exchange, and cultural friendship through Vovinam – Viet Vo Dao. Participants have the opportunity to learn advanced techniques directly from international experts while fostering stronger connections among practitioners from different regions and countries.

The enthusiastic participation of Vovinam practitioners and the warm hospitality extended by the organizers reflect the increasing popularity of Vovinam in India. The event also reinforces the strong partnership and friendship between the Indian and Vietnamese Vovinam communities, contributing to the continued global development of Vovinam – Viet Vo Dao.

The International Vovinam Technical Training Camp will continue through June 7, featuring intensive technical sessions, instructor development programs, and opportunities for cultural exchange among participants.
