HO CHI MINH CITY, July 19, 2026 – Master Tran Van My, Chief of Managing Masters of the Vovinam Viet Vo Dao School and Vice President of the World Vovinam Federation (WVVF), warmly welcomed Ms. Yayuk Padmi Rahayu, President of Pencak Silat Perisai Putih Indonesia, Vice President of the Pencak Silat Federation, and Vice President of the World Organization of Martial Arts Masters (WOMAU), during her courtesy visit to Vietnam.

The meeting was held on the morning of July 19 at the Vovinam Founder’s Shrine in Ho Chi Minh City, as Ms. Yayuk Padmi Rahayu was visiting Vietnam in conjunction with her attendance at the 10th Asian Pencak Silat Championship in Dong Nai Province.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, providing an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on the development of Vovinam and Pencak Silat, as well as to discuss future cooperation, martial arts exchanges, and stronger connections among martial arts organizations across the region.
The courtesy visit not only strengthened the friendship between Vovinam and Pencak Silat Perisai Putih Indonesia, but also reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Asian martial arts community to unity, cooperation, and sustainable development, while promoting the cultural values and martial spirit of traditional martial arts to the international community.
