On the afternoon of November 7, 2025, in Buleleng, Bali (Indonesia), the Executive Committee Meeting of the Southeast Asian Vovinam Federation (SEAVF) was held on the occasion of the 8th Vovinam World Championship taking place in Bali.

The conference focused on discussions, adjustments, and personnel additions for the new Executive Committee term. Attending the meeting were representatives of the SEAVF Executive Committee from five member countries: Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and the Philippines, under the supervision of Mr. Florin Macovei, Executive Vice President of the World Vovinam Federation (WVVF).

At the conference, delegates unanimously elected Mr. Ou Ratana, President of the Cambodian Vovinam Federation, as President of the Southeast Asian Vovinam Federation. Mr. I Nyoman Yamadhiputra (Indonesia) was elected as Executive Vice President and General Secretary of SEAVF.

The Vice Presidents of the Southeast Asian Vovinam Federation include: Mr. Nguyễn Bình Định (Vietnam), Mr. Jop Malonzo (Philippines), Mr. U Ye Mint (Myanmar), and Mr. Santipharp Intaraphartn (Thailand).

In addition, Ms. Dolly Khin Lay Mon was appointed Deputy General Secretary of the Southeast Asian Vovinam Federation. Notably, the conference also agreed to select Cambodia as the host country for the 2026 Asian Vovinam Championship — marking a new stage of development for the Vovinam movement in the region.

This conference is considered a significant milestone, helping to strengthen the organization and promote the Vovinam movement in Southeast Asia, aiming to expand the influence of the Vietnamese martial art on the international stage.
